Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Local departure by coach to the Paris area for a three-night stay.

Day 2 - Enjoy our included, full day in the ‘city of lights’. Paris is the capital of France and covers an area of 105 square km. Paris is renowned for its buildings and history, so why not visit some of them such as the Louvre home of the Mona Lisa painting, the Eiffel Tower which is over 323 metres high, the Notre Dame Cathedral which features in the famous Victor Hugo novel, the Basilica of Sacré Coeur which is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Arc de Triomphe where the name of the famous race comes from. You can explore the city independently or come and join our optional, guided sightseeing tour which is a great way to learn about the major sights of this amazing city. In the evening we return to the hotel, and you have time to relax before the excitement of the race tomorrow.

Day 3 - Enjoy one of the most prestigious days on the racing calendar culminating with the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. The Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe was first run in October 1920 and has continued to be a popular event in every race goers calendar. The race is a group 1 flat course with turf, open to thoroughbreds aged three years and older. The Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe to date has one of the largest prize fund of all the flat races on turf. The race is traditionally held at the Longchamp course which covers a distance of 2400 metres and located on the banks of the River Seine. Today you will have a general admission ticket for the race day with transfers included. So get your race card and binoculars ready to follow each of the races and hear the crowds 'roar' willing their horses and jockeys on down the last furlong and to the winning post.
