Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Our holiday begins as you meet your Tour Manager in Llandudno, where we stay at the Dunoon Hotel. Tonight we meet for a drinks reception, and dinner in the hotel's award-winning restaurant.
Day 2 - Today we head along the coast to Caernarfon, and join the narrow-gauge Welsh Highland Railway* into the foothills of the Snowdon Mountains to Beddgelert. Here we coach to Portmeirion. After a guided tour, we join the narrow-gauge Ffestiniog Railway* for a trip through wild and dramatic countryside to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Tonight we enjoy a 'Taste of Wales' farewell dinner.

Day 3 - We begin our day with a guided tour of the impressive Caernarfon Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We then travel over the Llanberis Pass to Llanberis, where we visit the National Slate Museum, housed in the Victorian workshops. Later, we board the Snowdon Mountain Railway special heritage steam service**, which climbs to the summit of Snowdon at 3,494 feet.
Day 4 - Today you are at leisure to explore Llandudno. This evening a guest speaker from the Llandudno Civic Society will regale you with Llandudno's fascinating history, dating back to the Middle Ages.
Day 5 - This morning we visit Conwy Castle, a wonderfully preserved 13th century castle. A guided tour reveals its intriguing history. We also visit Plas Mawr, the bestpreserved Elizabethan townhouse in Britain. We then continue to Bodnant Garden, which spans 80 acres, including a beautiful wild garden.
Day 6 - The tour concludes after breakfast this morning, and you are free to depart Llandudno at your leisure.
