Situated conveniently close to Malaga airport this once small fishing village, Torremolinos is now a popular and busy tourist resort on the Costa del Sol. Day trips include, a trip to the Costa del Sol's biggest theme park, Tivoli World just 2 miles west of Torremolinos with its exhilarating rides and live shows. Those who fancy a taste of traditional Spanish life can stroll all the way along the promenade to the old fishing village of La Carihuela, famous for its excellent seafood restaurants and pretty houses with picturesque flower-clad patios.
