Benidorm is a rocking resort with golden sandy beaches and round-the-clock entertainment! During the day all the action is centred around the four-mile stretch of golden sand, here visitors can sunbathe in the Spanish sun or try their hand at an array of water sports, these include, water skiing, paragliding, jet skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving and boat rides. In addition to the beaches (Levante and Poniente), Benidorm holidays are about the legendary nightlife, and partygoers will be spoilt for choice with the countless number of lively bars, throbbing discos and pulsating nightclubs. Holidays in Benidorm are not complete without a wander around Benidorm's Old Town, which has a selection of charming shops and boutiques. There is an outdoor market held every Wednesday and Sunday mornings selling bargain leather goods, shoes and local handicrafts. Those who fancy travelling further afield can enjoy hiking, biking and climbing in the beautifully rugged countryside. Located on Spain’s ‘White Coast’ the
Costa Blanca, Benidorm offers easy access to numerous 18-hole golf courses that are surrounded by the spectacular countryside.
Holidaymakers will enjoy fun packed family days out to theme parks, such as Aqualandia with its wealth of water rides, Aitana Safari Park with its exotic animals, Cactuslandia with its 1000 different species of Cactus. Excursions also include Terra Mitica with its hair-raising rides, and the Medieval Tournament, with its traditional medieval feasts, jesters and knights duelling on horseback, plus daytrips to the Canelobre Caves, a coastal ride on the Lemon Express train, or a trip to the beautiful Algar Falls.
Benidorm winter holidays have a different atmoshere, in winter the resort takes on a slightly more sedate air except during the raucous
Benidorm Fiesta week in early November and a similar celebration in March. These party weeks have a massive following from more mature singles and couples from the UK looking for some fun in the winter sun. There are lots of 3 star plus hotels that stay open throughout the winter to cater for the older tourists many of whom enjoy long stays away from the cold and rain at home. Most of the Benidorm hotels have tailored entertainment programmes to suit their more mature guests.
Booking advice for holidays to Benidorm from Travel Empire, for families that include children under 12 staying in hotel or self catering accommodation (older children may apply in some self catering units) that have to travel in the main school holidays then we recommend that early booking is advisable to qualify for free child places or other tour operator sponsored price reductions. The general rule with tailor-made holidays using 'low cost' airlines is again to book early for the best prices. If you can avoid travelling in the peak summer season (mid July to the end of August) and other school holiday times then these are the periods to look for the best late offers, last minute bargains or discounted holidays. As we are an independant company with no affliation to any particular tour operator or airline our only objective is to find our customers with the holiday that suits them best.
