The popular holiday resort of Alcudia is set amid a six-mile stretch of beach, it has a quaint old town, charming harbour and rich history. The old town in Alcudia is located within an ancient Moorish fort and features quaint squares, street caves and a small Roman amphitheatre. To enjoy the best views of this magnificent bay you could make the climb up to Sa Talaia d'Alcudia. At the end of the beach you will discover the old fishing village of Porte D'Alcudia. Here visitors can enjoy a sangria or two and sample the catch of the day in one of the charming restaurants. From here you can also take boat trips to the neighbouring island of Menorca or mainland Spain and the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona.

Keen hikers and bird watchers will not be disappointed in the area, they can explore the wildlife and scenery of the protected S'Albufera nature reserve. There are also a few nightclubs for those with plenty of energy. Most of Alcudia's nightscene is found around the port or northern area of Lake Esperanza.
