The popular 4* San Antonio hotel belongs to the small family run Vik Group, it has an enviable position by the sea, at the Playa del Pocillos end of Puerto del carmen. There is a promenade along the seafront that goes directly into the main resort and is a most enjoyable stroll into town. The 331 modern and comfortable rooms all have a fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV and balcony or terrace. Most of the rooms have sea views but some of the rooms on the lower floors have an obscured view due to the shrubs and palm trees in the garden. The rooms on the higher floors carry a small supplement for a better view and full sea view. Family rooms are on the ground floor with direct access out into the gardens and the pool area.
The main restaurant serves meals buffet style, with a good choice of both local and International cuisine and themed nights. The option can be made of either lunch or dinner on the half board arrangement (subject to the restaurant opening at lunchtimes). There is also a snack bar located by the pool offering light snacks and a cocktail bar with live music and dancing every night.
The hotel has 2 swimming pools (one can be heated in winter) with complimentary pool towel service and a separate children’s splash pool, a fitness centre with a gym, sauna and massage facilities and 2 tennis courts.
