Location

The 5 star Hotel Sir Anthony Tenerife is part of the Mare Nostrum Resort this includes the Hotel Mediterranean Palace and the 4 Star superior Mare Nostrum hotel (the Mare Nostrum Hotel is comprised of three buildings, Cleopatra, Marco Antonio and Julio Cesar). The Sir Anthony is a unique property and seems like a small boutique hotel yet guests here can use the extensive facilities throughout the Mare Nostrum Resort. The hotel is set overlooking the sea and has direct access to the beach and promenade where guests can stroll in to the centre of Playa de las Americas or take a leisurely walk to Los Cristianos (approximately 800 metres away). A special feature of the Sir Anthony are the ultra-modern, luxuriously appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, whilst top floor superior rooms also have their own private pool and sun terrace! Each of the 70 guest rooms and suites feature satellite TV, air-conditioning and direct telephone with answering machine, a mini bar, piped music, music centre, Ipod and Mp3 connections, safe, writing desk, a luxurious bathroom with hydro massage bathtubs and hair dryer. They also have a private terrace, sea view as well as 24-hour room service.

Sports & Entertainment

The hotel's swimming pool, solarium and common areas are exclusive to guests of the Sir Anthony, however guests staying at the Sir Anthony can take full advantage of the facilities and services offered on the entire Mare Nostrum complex including: 4 swimming pools for adults (one for naturists), children's swimming pools, Jacuzzi, solariums, 2 tennis courts (lessons available on request),1 multi-sport court, mini golf, gym, fitness room, aerobics room, sauna, tai chi and yoga sessions, daily activity programme, table tennis, pool table, TV room, piano-bar, bars, terraces, restaurants, garden, hairdresser, boutique, children's park as well as the Thalasso Therapy Centre, Mare Nostrum SPA. It also has a medical service (available in the morning), car rental and laundry service. These facilities are all within reach of the hotel.

Restaurants & Bars

Breakfast is served in the Sir Anthony's restaurant, for evening meals guests of the hotel can choose to dine in the Sir Anthony or any of the 9 Restaurants located throughout the Mare Nostrum complex. There is a variety of cuisine to choose from with several themed venues including a steak house, Asian, Spanish, and Italian restaurants. The Complex also has a beach bar that serves meals and drinks every day and has occasional themed evenings with live music.

Other Facilities

Along with a huge list of facilities the hotel can also arrange baby sitting, it has a library with daily complimentary facilities for guests to enjoy including newspapers and CD's, there is Wi-fi connection and other business facilities such as fax, photocopier, PC and Printing services. The hotel also owns its own Catamaran 'The Lady Shelly' tickets are available from the hotel to book an excursion on board, you can spend a day whale watching, have time for a swim, sunbathe on the deck and enjoy food and drink included in the cost.
