The island of Minorca (Menorca) is ideal for couples and a great choice for family holidays. Popular excursions on Menorca include a visit to the 354-metre Mount Toro, with its 17th-century Sanctuary of the Mare de Deu del Toro at its peak. Alternatively there are gothic churches, monuments, fortresses, prehistoric remains and Neolithic towns scattered throughout the island.
