Birdseye View of Benidorm

The Costa Blanca attracts millions of tourists every year. Set on Spain's eastern coast, the Costa Blanca or 'white coast' is one of most beautiful areas of the Iberian Peninsula and known for its endless swathes of white-sandy beaches. The Costa Blanca begins in Denia and Javea in the north and stretches down to Guardamar and Torrevieja in the south. The Costa Blanca has something for everyone, it is popular year round with beach lovers, families, fun-seekers, couples and golfers.

Calpe

Holidays to the Costa Blanca combine big, lively tourist resorts with traditional Spanish towns and villages. Benidorm is home to the cheap package holiday market and is the most renowned tourist resort on the Costa Blanca. This famous resort has attracted UK holiday makers here for many years, with its three-mile sandy coastline, abundance of lively bars, throbbing nightclubs and latest theme parks. Set on the outskirts of Benidorm is Terra Mitica, Spain's biggest theme park, Aqualandia, a thrilling water park, and Mundomar, a marine park.

Evening in Benidorm
The Costa Blanca fuses modern with medieval, even when surrounded by the bright lights of Benidorm, you're only seven miles from the medieval cobbled streets of Altea. Other cultural points of interest on the Costa Blanca include the old fishing port of Torevieja, the attractive old quarter of Calpe, and the mountain fortress at Guadalest, which dates back to 715 AD.

Costa Blanca's range of activities include water sports, golfing, paragliding, sailing, fishing and numerous hiking and biking trails through olive and citrus groves, pine forests and pretty coastal scenery.

Fireworks during Fiesta Week
The whole of Spain loves a fiesta and the Costa Blanca is no different, during March and November the Benidorm fiestas have been embraced by British holidaymakers with the November fiesta week in particular becoming an annual party of huge proportions. The fiesta marks the end of the season for another year and in typical Benidorm style it likes to go out with a bang! The official final night of the celebrations heralds a gigantic firework display, for more information, dates and availability please visit Benidorm Fiesta week.
